Two new patterns have hit the shop - both of North Carolina State University, established in 1887 in Raleigh, NC.
There is a square version with some modern additions, including the glassy library and student center, and a 5 x 7" (on 14 count) version with the classic symbols and a small skyline of Hillsborough street. Click the photos to go to the pattern.

There are many ways to have your floss in full view, whether you're a designer looking to match the right colors together or a stitcher who likes to easily access your floss. Some put their bobbins on a peg board, some purchase the color card with actual floss.
But none of those ideas appealed to me, so I came up with a different idea - to stitch my own color chart! I found an old SAL that some wonderful French stitchers embarked upon in the 2010s, where they shared floss to cut costs, and everyone stitched their floss "blocks" in a different shape - hearts, bobbins, stars. Some even finished their color chart as small books. My idea was to have a large piece of cloth that could be framed or folded into a book. While I originally thought I would frame mine (what a great addition to a craft room!) I found I liked having it portable so that I could refer to it whether I was designing on my laptop on the couch or at my desk. I've tested the pattern and provided lots of tips and tricks to help you along with the project based on what I've learned. You can see the details of the pattern in my Ko-Fi shop.
